Dr. Chase McLaurin

Dr. Chase McLaurin is an educational consultant, innovative leader, author, and adjunct professor at Teachers College, Columbia University teaching coursework on organizational and team behaviors. He is the proud product of Louisiana Title I schools and a dyslexic learner with a unique educational perspective that has led him to become an award-winning educator and educational leader with an outstanding track record for improving school and student outcomes. Chase is a former U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School Award-winning principal, Model Dual Language Immersion School Principal, Elementary Principal of the Year, Founding Early College High School Principal, and charter network executive director. He specializes in building the capacity of future-focused organizations through strategic planning, academic structures, instructional coherence, adult learning, innovative programming, team building, and culture.
Tracey K. Hurst
Educational Consultant
Tracey K. Hurst is an accomplished educator whose career has spanned multiple roles and responsibilities. She is an expert on P-Tech and Early College High Schools models with a successful book series. Currently serving as an independent consultant, she has worked with hundreds of schools across the State of Texas and other states, both in the Early College High School network as well as with comprehensive elementary, middle, and high schools, helping with instructional leadership, systems designs, progress monitoring, accelerating instruction, and multiple other topics as needed by the campus. Additionally, she works with school district central office personnel in the area of leadership development and the successful transition from the classroom to a support role.
Dr. Patricia Uribe
Educational Consultant
Dr. Uribe is the Director of the Texas Academy of International and STEM Studies and the Superintendent of Texas A&M International University Independent School District in Laredo, Texas. She is a published author and serves as an Assistant Professor for the Department of Professional Programs, College of Education, Texas A&M International University. Dr. Uribe has over twenty-five years of experience in public education and served as the founding principal for the Laredo/TAMIU Early College High School. In addition, Dr. Uribe has served as an educational consultant in multiple capacities including leadership coach and instructional coach. Some of Dr. Uribe’s recognitions include receiving the Chancellor’s Excellence in Teaching Award – TAMU System in 2009 and the College of Education Junior Faculty of the Year at TAMIU in 2010.
Lucero Diaz Ortiz

Lucero Diaz Ortiz is a highly effective and accomplished bilingual educator with a track record of success in one of The country’s largest urban school districts. Lucero’s professional experience includes working with low socioeconomic students, Dual Language programs, Gifted and Talented programs, and Title 1 schools. She believes in perfecting her craft through innovative and equitable ways of teaching and engaging learners in a dynamic global environment.
Kara Hoover
Educational Consultant
Kara is an award-winning educator and Texas Education Agency Recognized Teacher with an outstanding track record of improving student outcomes for at-risk student populations. She has experience at multiple grade levels and success closing achievement gaps in just one school year. Kara was recognized as a Dallas ISD Distinguished Teacher, and she has maintained this title by consistently producing some of the district’s highest student achievement results.
Kristine Macauley
Educational Consultant
Kristine Macauley is the owner of The Purple Pen academic services company which she started in 2015. Since then she has provided teaching, tutoring, and other academic services for students, parents, and educational organizations. She has taught as an adjunct professor, an AP English grader, and developed curriculum and courses for SAT, ACT, Accuplacer, and CLEP tests. She started her professional career as a corporate trainer for GTE where she earned top awards for both the quality and quantity of courses she taught. In 2016, she earned the Online Teacher of the Year award as an adjunct professor.
