Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Chase McLaurin is an award-winning educational leader, consultant, author, and adjunct professor who specializes in building the capacity of future-focused organizations and learning teams. He strives to foster an understanding of the connections and interplay between adult learning, curriculum, organizational development, culture/climate, and the process changes necessary to shift the focus from teaching to learning. Through hands-on, learning-centered, and job-embedded experiences, Chase uses an assets-based approach to work side by side with staff members, teachers, and leaders to re-examine deeply held beliefs and patterns around leadership, teaching, and learning.
Chase has experience teaching at elementary, middle, and post-secondary school levels. He has extensive leadership experience having served as Title I school principal in one of Texas’ largest urban school districts at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. His schools and programs have won countless awards during his tenure including the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon Schools Award, numerous Principal of the Year honors, and recognition from the U.S. Department of Education for excellent Dual Language Immersion programming. Dr. McLaurin had the honor of serving as the founding principal of a highly successful Early College High School and Executive Director of Academic Innovation at a new Louisiana charter school network. He is currently an adjunct professor teaching graduate coursework on organizational development and team building at Teachers’ College, Columbia University.
He enjoys helping organizations with their team and culture-building efforts by using effective tools and data profiles. His professional development workshops are centered on the development of innovative skills, programs, and leadership practices that support the alignment of research-based best practices with local vision. Dr. McLaurin provides curriculum, equity, and instructional auditing services to tailor support for his clients. He offers job-embedded coaching for teachers, principals, and executives along with strategic planning and consulting supports at all levels of the organization.
