Kristine M

Kristine Macauley is the owner of The Purple Pen academic services company which she started in 2015. Since then she has provided teaching, tutoring, and other academics services for students, parents, and educational organizations. Prior to that she also served as a tutor and private and homeschool teacher and curriculum developer. Among her experiences, she has taught as an adjunct professor, an AP English grader after student have completed their tests, and developed curriculum and courses for SAT, ACT, Accuplacer, and CLEP tests. She started her professional career as a corporate trainer for GTE where she earned top awards for both the quality and quantity of courses she taught. In 2016, she earned the Online Teacher of the Year award as an adjunct professor. Kristine holds an MBA with emphasis in curriculum development and a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She has two two boys whom she homeschooled through secondary school. Kristine loves her profession and is passionate about helping students succeed.
